Down time...

A power outage last night killed us. Apologies!

Integral Energy were at their finest last night. It was pouring rain, freezing cold and about dinner time. Wham! Power goes out for about 2 hours, spikes a few times and goes out again. 20minutes later, we have electrons in the wires again.

Thankfully it appears my servers and routers and switch etc, all survived the ordeal, but the hard drive in the web server is making a funny kinda hi-pitch scraping noise every now and again. So looks like I might have to take this site down again soon to replace the hard drive.

Maybe instead of spending $$ on hard drives I should just invest in a UPS or three? Donations anyone?!
