We got a digital camera!

Well we finally took the plunge and got a digital camera. So keep a close eye on this site - plenty of photo's to come! Click "Read More" for the rest of the details about the camera etc.

For the curious we bought an Olympus mju400. It's a 4 mega-pixel unit with a 3x optical zoom. The zoom is a little small but considering it can manage 4 mega-pixels, I can just crop and enlarge the bits I want even if it's a relativly small element in the photo.

We also got a 64MB card with it (as well as the standard 16MB) so we can take lots of photos before needing to download them.

Anyway, it's our new toy and we're having a ball taking photo's of basically everything seeing as we don't have to print them or even keep them - they're only electrons! :P
